Round table meeting “Kazakhstan: intersection of ancient cultures” will be held in Astana

The meetings devoted to summarizing subtotals and discuss the prospects for the global project "Great migration of people" within the International Decade of the Convergence of Cultures (2013–2022) proclaimed the United Nations (UN) and UNESCO’s Plan of Action at the Kazakhstan’s initiative.
In it turn "Decade" became a huge continuation of successfully spent International year of convergence of cultures, which the UN declared on the proposal of the President of Kazakhstan N. Nazarbayev.
On the round table meeting "Kazakhstan: intersection of ancient cultures" the following subjects will be discussed:

• History and processes of settlement of humanity on the planet Earth;
• Geographical origin of tribes and peoples who came to the territory of the subcontinent during its original development by a man;
• Strengthening of a dialog between civilizations, cultures and religions.

The project "Great migration of people" about global movement of mankind on the planet, since prehistory and early history, has been realized in several stages. The main goal of the project which received a huge resonance in the world scientific community — to show that all people come from the general "cradle" and how was the process of settlement of certain territories.

The Minister of Culture and Sport of the Republic of Kazakhstan and the chairman of the National Commission on Affairs of UNESCO Arystanbek Mukhamediuly will take part in the work of the round table meeting.

Also, participants of the event will be following prominent scientists: Professor, academician at National Academy of Science of Kazakhstan Karl Baypakov, rector of Eurasian National University named after L.Gumilyov Erlan Syzdykov, CEO of National Archive of Kazakhstan Marat Absemetov, Professor and Director of Center of language, literature and terminology of the International Turkic Academy Adil Akhmetov, the Director of Scientific Research Institute of Archeology named after K. Akishev Maral Habdulina, Academician of the National Academy of Science of Kazakhstan Bulat Kumekov, Academician of the National Academy of Science of Kazakshtan Garifolla Esimov, the Director of Institute of Oriental Studies Absattar Derbusali, Rector of International Kazakh-Turkic University named after H. Yassawi Ualihan Abdibekov, state and public figures: Askar Moldagarinov — deputy chief of office of the President of Kazakhstan; deputy of Mazhilis of Kazakhstan, Professor, PhD Kamal Burkhanov, vice-president of "Kultura" fund Valery Tolmachev, the director of the UNESCO cluster bureau in Almaty, the representative of UNESCO in Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan and Tajikistan Sergey Lazarev, the chairman of public association "Grazhdanskii Aliyans" Nurlan Erimbetov.
