Historical Science of Kazakhstan has entered to a new stage of its development and improvement. Historians have got a real opportunity for deep research. However, the reality of today’s days, the increased interest of the state and society to the development of this branch of science. This is due to the need to strengthen the ideological foundations of modern Kazakh society in the context of the national idea «Mangilik el».
The heads of research institutes, universities, leading scientists of Kazakhstan, teachers of history and the humanities, high school history teachers and media representatives attended this conference.

Gumilev, Ph. D., Professor Esіm Garifolla, Professor of the Department of History of Kazakhstan at the Kokshetau State University named after Sh. Valikhanov, D.Sc. Kadyrzhan Abuyev, Professor of the Department of World History, Historiography and Chronology at the Kazakh National University named after Al-Farabi, D.Sc. Turganzhan Tulebayev, Professor of faculty of the World History at the Kazakh National University named after Al-Farabi, Ph. D. Kaiyrken Kunapina, Associate Professor of History of Kazakhstan at the South Kazakhstan State University named after M. Auezov, Ph. D. Gapar Maymakov.
At this stage of development, the participants of the conference discussed the characteristics and achievement of historical science in Kazakhstan, the way of its further development in the context of the national idea «Mangilik el», issues on implementation in educational process of innovative teaching methods, preparation of new textbooks and extensive use of information technology.
