Zhambyl Regional Russian Drama Theater successfully hosted the premiere
of performance "Centaurs of Turan" based on the play of the Kazakh

The "Centaurs of Turan" narrates a story about the warlike tribe Saks that was controlled by the proud queen Tomiris and how they defeated the king Cyrus, the one who conquered many countries and was invincible until faced with the Great Steppe", said the director of the Russian Drama Theatre Victoria Dadaeva.
The director of performance, a winner of the International Prize named after Chingiz Aitmatov, Kuandik Kassymov was able to convey the intense psychology of struggle with a superior force of the enemy, fight, on which depends the future of the whole nation.
An art director of the play is Vladimir Sizintsev, who subtly conveys the mysterious atmosphere of the historical myths of antiquity.
