Kh.A.Yassawi International Kazakh-Turkish University also contributed to the opening of the exhibition.
Director of the National Museum of the Republic of Kazakhstan Darkhan Mynbay drew attention of the guests to the content of exhibited works at the opening ceremony and wished the young artists to achieve success in their work. -40 paintings created by teachers and students of Arts Faculty of Kh.A.Yassawi International Kazakh-Turkish University are exhibited there. The customs and traditions, the essence of our independent nation are shown on the paintings. Also, the images of historical figures and historical events that have indelible mark in the history of people are reflected on the paintings. I am sure that all these serve to strengthening the basis of the national idea ‘Mangilik El’,-Darkhan Mynbay said. Rector of International Kazakh-Turkish University Ualikhan Abdibekov said: -The exhibition thematically consists of two parts: ‘Historical figures of the Great Steppe’ and ‘Seminal events of the Great Steppe’. Themes foe the paintings were considered carefully and passed scientific and artistic expertise by University specialists. The aim of the exhibition is to up bring a sense of patriotism, respect to Motherland and formation of a new worldview based on unity and solidarity by reinterpreting of major historical events and historical role of the great personalities of the Great steppe.
The paintings ‘The hunting scene in the Kazakh steppe’, ‘The Saka leader — funeral of Golden man’, ‘Otyrar bath’, ‘Taikazan’, ‘Otyrar library’, ‘Construction of Kozha Akhmet Yassawi Mausoleum’ and others serve to artistic perception of historical events and phenomena.
The exhibition will run until September 25.
