June 16, 2016 the exhibition «Magic of time» from the funds of the Museum of the First President of the Republic of Kazakhstan was held in Karasai District Local History Museum.
First exhibition «Magic of time» was successfully held on the eve of the new 2016 year at Museum of the First President of the Republic of Kazakhstan and had a positive response among residents and guests of the capital. Considering uniqueness of the exhibition and interest towards the exhibition, it was decided to take the collection to the regions.
Symbolically, the exhibition opens on the eve of N.A.Nazarbayev’s birthday in the President’s hometown and provides an opportunity for guests and residents of Almaty Region to get acquainted with clock collection from Museum funds. They were presented to the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan in recognition of international authority of Kazakhstan and its leader.
The best exponents of the collection adorned the exposition of Karasai District Local History Museum. The exhibition can rightly be called unique, because the exhibition presents about 50 various and rare works of fine watchmaking. There are various in form, technique and time of execution — fireplace, table, wall, pocket and wrist chronometers. Unique skeleton, clocks made with a variety techniques and materials, popular models of XIX-XX centuries and as well as models which brought well-deserved reputation to European watchmakers — all of them were collected and presented on the exhibition.
