As a result of the joint work of the historical and educational society "Adilet" and the National Security Committee of the RK who investigated and studied the consequences of repression, the collections "Book of Sorrow" appeared that covered all areas of our country. It is impossible to review information about all the victims published in this edition in a short time, and yet we tried to identify the youngest victims of repression in Almaty and Kostanay oblasts.
We began our work by searching for persons born in 1915, during the search among the victims of repression in the Almaty region the name of Islamkul Abdreimov, a resident of the village of Samsy, the Kaskelen district, born in 1918, appeared.

Abilev Muhamedbek, whose name is in the "Book of Sorrow" of the Almaty region, according to our calculations, is considered the youngest victim of repression. He lived only 15 years. However, there were reports that he was "sentenced to 3 years’ probation".

Akylbek Dauletov is the youngest Kazakh - a victim of repression in the Kostanay region. The 21-year-old young dzhigit, who did not know the joy of youth, had only a primary education and was the victim of political repression.

A man who read the "Book of Sorrow" would have noticed that among the deported Koreans there were very young people.
The generation, born in 1910-1916, during the Great Terror was only 18-22 years old. One of them is Kim Hoben. He was only 20 years old when he fell victim to mass terror.
