On June 2, 2015, the exhibition dedicated to International Children’s Day was held in the Museum of the First President of Kazakhstan.
Opening of the exhibition "Pedagogical vernissage" organized together with Children’s Art School — UNESCO club of the city of Shymkent within the framework of children’s project "Look from childhood" took place in the Museum of the First President of Kazakhstan. Among pupils of this school there are winners of the annual competition "Tugan zherim" held traditionally on the eve of celebration of the Independence Day in the Museum of the First President of Kazakhstan.
The exhibition is dedicated for the International Children’s Day. A main objective of action is the exchange of pedagogical and creative experience between pupils of the city of Shymkent and Astana. The exhibition features more than one hundred works made in various techniques.
The exhibition "Pedagogical vernissage" was solemnly opened by the deputy director of the Museum of the First President of Kazakhstan —Kulyaysha Aktayeva. Also the Vice-president of Kazakhstan National Federation of Clubs of UNESCO — Serkan Ayazabayev and the Director of Children Art School — UNESCO club of the city of Shymkent — Toyash Orazova made a speech.
The following stage of event was a series of master classes in which pupils of Children’s Art School — UNESCO club of Astana took active part became. The master class consisted from three techniques: technique of arts and crafts, technique of nuno-felt and technique of "encaustic".
"Felt is a traditional product of nomads. It is simply impossible to present their life without felt. At this exhibition of a product from felt moving into the category of high art, but this high art has to take place the period of craftsmanship and training.
To maintain such art for centuries there is a need for special professionals who have an understanding of techniques. Moreover, from the point of view of canons and traditions of nomads of Eurasia these technologies have to be justified. Such exhibitions of modern artists give classical elements and scope for thinking. It is very important to train obligatory things, and then open the way for person’s creativity" — said Kulyash Aktayeva.
"We have the album "Children draw world of Central Asia", which is published every two years. In 2010 Imangali Tasmaganbetov was the initiator to attract Central Asia. Since that time this album is distributed to all headquarters of UNESCO, which is worldwide. Some of the works presented at the exhibition will also be presented in this album" —says Serkan Ayazbayev.
"I think it is our history, after all our ancestors even in ancient centuries were engaged in art, keeping history in drawings, images sculptures and stones. This is the reason I go to Children’s Art School — UNESCO club to make the contribution to history of our country" — shares her impression Saya Smagulova.
