They will reveal some secrets of the past and for the first time they will talk about many different things. The participants of the first team of the President of Kazakhstan, frankly about the first years of independence. Do not miss it!

The TV project of the “Khabar” agency “The Lessons of History” will help to find some unique and exclusive details that prevented the conversion of the USSR to the Confederacy; about the leaders of the country who was ready to support the State Emergency Committee in 1991; how much money was in the state treasury at the beginning of Independence; how the inheritance of the centralized control system destabilized the Republic; why does so many ministers did not understand what to do; how the gold and forex reserves were formed and how it happened that there was no champagne in the President's residence to celebrate the establishment of the Armed Forces of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

  The twenty-two-years-old period of the Kazakhstan Independence is full of events, achievements, breakthroughs, ups and downs. All of this is a modern and contemporary history of the Republic. However, there are some crucial key episodes of formation of the young State, which are still of a great interest only to the older generation of the Kazakh people. On the background of the current rate of development of the country, the difficulties of the previous years will be erased from the memory.

That is why the authors of the documentary "The Lessons of History" decided to turn to one of the heroes of those years, to the first government officials of the young Republic, who took upon oneself the entire burden of responsibility and who was not afraid to face the challenges and circumstances of that time by the way of a trial and error, personal bravery and courage.

Daulet Sembaev, Altai Tleuberdin, Murat Auezov, Kairbek Sulejmenov, Serikbolsyn Abdildin, Mukhtar Altynbayev, Gani Kasymov,  Zharmakhan Tuyakbay, Oraz Jandosov, Olzhas Suleimenov, Myrzatai Zholdasbekov, many of the heroes of the first documentary project shared their unique memories, revealed some secrets of the past and tried to recreate the atmosphere in which the development of the state administrative system of the Republic began, how the banking sector was formed, how the first large-scale reforming programs were launched and how the army and industrial enterprises were recreated.

The documentary is based on the memories of beholders, direct participants and representatives of the State management. The storyline of the film is based on their stories. They are the main actors of the TV project, the members of the first team of the President of Kazakhstan.

Comments and memories of speakers are picturized in a newsreel, many fragments of which the viewer can see for the first time.
