Today we meet on the eve of a major historical date. 100 years ago there was the February bourgeois-democratic revolution. The Revolution was met by Kazakhs with enthusiasm and hope for freedom. The first reports about the victory of the February Revolution in Petrograd were obtained in Omsk - the heart of the Steppe Territory as of March 1, 1917 and March 3 in Akmolinsk telegraphs received message from the executive committee of the State Duma on the overthrow of the autocracy.
